Back in 2016, my husband Andrew and I went on a late honeymoon to Oahu, Hawaii. We found a cute little burger joint called “Seven Brothers Burgers” and we LOVED it! Imagine our excitement when we discovered that there was now a Seven Brother’s Burgers in Provo, Utah!

Provo Utah is unique for not only its people that live here but for their culture and worldwide influence. Seven Brothers is originally from Laie Hawaii but now we have two in Utah County!

One fun touch is that instead of handing you a number to bring you your food, they hand you a plaque with a fun word on it such as "beautiful", " trust", or "inspire".

Seven Brothers Burgers is Open for Business

Back in 2016, my husband Andrew and I went on a late honeymoon to Oahu, Hawaii. We found a cute little burger joint called “Seven Brothers Burgers” and we LOVED it! Imagine our excitement when we discovered that there was now a Seven Brother’s Burgers in Provo, Utah! We decided to go last night, and loved it again.

The restaurant is located in the Riverwoods in Provo, Utah, right next to the Provo Beach Resort. It is a small, cozy restaurant with great burgers! We originally tried to go a few weeks ago on a Saturday, but it was very crowded with a long line, so we decided to try again on a less busy night. This time, we went on a Tuesday around 6. The wait wasn’t terrible – about ten minutes to order our food and another ten to receive it. It did seem that the restaurant didn’t have quite enough space for everyone though. After we ordered, the only space to eat available was at the bar, not ideal for us with our baby in tow. The people who ordered after us, however, had to wait around for a table to be available. It did die down a bit around 6:30, and there began to be more open space for eating.

The environment of the restaurant is fun and gives Hawaiian vibes – from the cool light fixtures to the pictures from Hawaii on the walls. One fun touch is that instead of handing you a number to bring you your food, they hand you a plaque with a fun word on it such as "beautiful", " trust", or "inspire". The employees were friendly and worked quickly and well with each other. I noticed, probably due to my experience in food service management and my seat at the bar, that the employees always kept themselves busy. If they weren’t making food, they were cleaning up or asking customers if they needed anything else. The restaurant is also on the Starving Student card, so you can use that for extra deals!

None of this, however, holds a candle to the amazing FOOD! They have several burger options, a few sandwiches, and salads, shakes and fries. My husband and I both chose a burger – mine with avocado and bacon (they did NOT skimp on the avocado!) and his with mushrooms, bacon, and cheese. The burgers were HUGE and messy to eat, but so delicious. They also offer several burgers that are more unusual, such as a teriyaki burger or a burger with grilled pineapple. We also ordered fries, and these were probably my favorite part of the meal. They were more unusual as far as fries go, with shape and seasonings, served with a delicious fry sauce. Andrew got the “crazy fries”, which come with melted cheese, onions, and house sauce (fry sauce). They were both delicious. We opted out of trying the shakes, as we did notice they were $5.50, and not very big. The burgers were a fair price for their size, between 6 and 9 dollars depending on the topping, with fries costing between 4 and 8 extra (home fries are $4, crazy are $6, and the paniolo fries, which include grilled pineapple and bacon are $8.) We also did notice they had a special fryer and grill set aside for gluten-free meals.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience at Seven Brothers Burgers. We loved the food and the service was fairly quick. We do wish that there was more space in the dining room, as it was pretty packed even on a Tuesday night. If you are looking for a great burger and fries, check out Seven Brothers Burgers.
