Big Daddy’s Pizza is found in American Fork, Utah, right across the street from Purple Turtle and Subway. It is a small outlet/restaurant and can be easily missed if not paying close enough attention.

It has a very similar look and feel as Bok Bok, also found in American Fork.

Big Daddy’s Pizza is pretty good! I wasn’t expecting a lot when I walked in because of the layout of the restaurant. It is very small, and if it is crowded, there is not a lot of room to wait for your pizza or salad.

When I got there, there were a lot of people waiting for their pizzas so it was pretty crowded. The restaurant is relatively clean. It has an old fashioned feel to it. The ground was a bit dirty, but I think that’s from it being close to their closing time and from the dirty snow brought in from shoes. The menu is quite expansive. Buyers can build their own 12”, 14”, 18”, or 26” pizzas, super combos, double deckers, combos, Hawaiian, nasty boy, coronary, white, frank’s buffalo chicken pizza, barney fife, alfredo chicken, bbq chicken, veggie, super veggie, and pesto chicken. There are also sides available for purchase: cinnamon bread with streusel, garlic bread, garlic cheesy bread, and bubba breadsticks. Appetizers include hot wings, boneless chicken wings, bbq wings, jalapeno poppers, bbq rib tips, and mozzerealla sticks. Salads are also available for purchase as a side or as a meal.

I only purchased the cheese pizza and pepporoni pizza. They were both the “hot n ready” pizzas. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get the pizzas, but it was worth it. They were not ready right when we got there, so don’t count on it being “hot n ready” like the “hot n ready” pizzas at Little Caesars. The employees were really nice. A few of them had thick accents which made them hard to understand, but they were still very nice and fast. I could see in the back, a few employees making the pizzas by hand. These pizzas are fresh and ready to eat after you purchase them.

I would have bought more of a specialty pizza, but these pizzas are pretty expensive. They are good, but I honestly would have spent money on the pizzas at papa johns or little ceasars. The crust is very thin, which is great if you don’t like crust.

There is a lot of cheese and a lot of sauce. The pizzas are huge, but only good if you eat them fresh. We had leftovers, and the next day, it was so greasy and made my stomach upset for awhile. I recommend only eating the pizzas the day you buy them. But keep in mind, they will be more pricey than others pizzas around.

I thought they tasted great, but I was a little disappointed in how expensive a cheese and pepperoni pizza was here. Just be prepared to spend a lot. They are huge, but not that filling so you will find yourself eating 4-5 slices, as opposed to 2-3 costco slices of pizza.
