Zaxby's

Zaxby’s is a delicious chicken restaurant that is located mostly on the east coast, except for one pocket being in Utah. It is literally nowhere to be found in the Midwest, except two locations in Utah. Otherwise, you must visit a sliver on the east coast in order to find Zaxby’s. This restaurant is characterized by its huge orange and blue colors and massive chicken logo.

There are plenty of options to eat healthy here, even though their best food items are fried. My absolute favorite is the fried chicken club sandwich. This sandwich is pretty big. If often comes with fries and Zaxby’s sauce, which is delicious. Utah is very well known for its fry sauce, but Zaxby’s sauce is even better. The chicken club sandwich consists of toast for the bread part, with butter, fried chicken, lettuce, mayo, zaxby’s sauce, and tomatoes. It is super good! But probably not very healthy since it tastes so good. I also really enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich. This one is tasty as well, but I like the fried chicken sandwich better. The fries are decorated in spices, although they are not spicy. They are especially delicious when dipped in Zaxby’s sauce.

Most of the time, the food is ready pretty fast. Although, Zaxby’s is gaining popularity, especially through drive through, and this makes it surprisingly slow to order food. When I went recently, I ordered my food very quickly, but had to wait at least 20 minutes for my food to be ready. I noticed that the people who ordered before me had been there awhile as well. There might be a long wait but it is totally worth it! The customer service is really great here though. I have been two or three different times, and each time the employees are very nice. They are friendly and courteous. They also have great recommendations if you are wanting to try something new. The next time I go, I will likely get a Zalad which is supposedly one of the best items on the menu. But besides sandwiches and salads, there are deserts, shakes, and drinks. I have never had their shakes or deserts, but they do sounds pretty good.

The restaurant itself is always very tidy and neat. I have never found crumbs or drink droplets on tables or chairs. The stuffing in the chairs is always very new and bouncy as well which makes it fun to eat inside the restaurant. Most of the time, there are not very many people eating inside the restaurant. I have found it is a lot more common to order through the drive through or to pick it up and go. This might be faster in the end anyways since I also noticed that drive through has priority most of the time.

There are kids menus and meals available which makes this a great option for kids as well. They sneak vegetables into the sides and sandwiches, although you can still order fries.
