This event is super cool and fun for kids! It takes place at Valley Fair Mall in West Valley, Utah. This past weekend, Cinderella and Prince Charming were at the mall playing with kids for free! This event happens on the third Saturdays of the month (sometimes more, just keep on eye on Instagram and Facebook). It starts at 10am and goes until 12pm.

I got to Valley Fair Mall around 11:30 just to catch the end of the event. Giant balloons are set up in the middle of the mall to attract everyones attention and to show where Cinderella is. The balloons are in Cinderellas theme colors and have castle images on them, so you know you are in the right place. A tie shop nearby also plays Disney music to add more fun to the environment.

Cinderella and Prince Charming take lots of photos with the kids. They also have several games on the floor to play with the kids. I saw twister was on the floor, the elefun game was on the floor, and some balls and toys were on the floor. Tables are set up all around Cinderella and Prince Charming for parents to sit while their kids go interact with Cinderella and Prince Charming. Many of the little girls were dressed up in their princess dresses as well. I am not sure if they had some for sale in the mall or not, but be sure to bring your kids dressed up to meet Cinderella.

There were a few times that the kids would play tag, freeze tag, and hide and seek with Cinderella. She also told stories, read books, and helped them with making some crafts. I got there after craft time was over, but it looked like everyone was able to cut out, paint, or color their own tiara crowns to wear.

This event was pretty packed when I got there, so I would recommend getting there before 10 am especially if you want a nice photo with Cinderella. That way little kids aren’t running around everywhere and people are not in the way for a nice picture. Besides Cinderella, there are a few more fun things to do, especially if you are waiting to meet her.

On the North end of the mall, there is a small carousel that fits 3-4 kids at a time that is fun to ride! I believe it costs around one dollar to ride the carousel, but it works and is super safe to ride. There are also the new giant stuffed animals that you can pay $11 to ride for 15 minutes around the mall. They look like mini rover things. Each one is a different animal, and they are gated up in the “animal barn.” If you decide to ride one, they glide all over the mall and actually go pretty fast. Lots of little kids loved riding them around Cinderella.

For parents, there is a brand new massage chair across from the carousel as well as several small shops. This is a fun way to not only meet Cinderella, but to explore the mall.
