Pat’s Dancewear is a dancer’s dream come true! This store is a one of a kind that specializes in dance attire and dance shoes. Pat’s is found in Bountiful, Utah.

Being a dancer, it can be super hard to find dance attire that fits right since every body type is different, and it can be expensive. Dance gear can be hard to find that is comfortable and wont wear out easily if you dance everyday. Especially when put on pointe shoes, feet type matters as well as comfort. I recently was in the market for new pointe shoes and couldn’t find any my size and for a good price.

Of course you can order online, but then it is hard to ensure that the pointe shoes will fit right, and you have to sew the ribbons on your shoes once they ship in. At Pat’s they have every pointe shoe possible! They literally have two entire walls full of every pointe shoe type in the world. They also have them in different colors and with different spacers and toe pads for your feet. Not only this, but Pat’s has specialists who help you fit pointe shoes to your foot type at your first visit. This does not cost extra, and the specialists are super nice! At my first visit, they helped me find spacers for my toes as well as toe pads for my toes to keep my feet comfortable and safe while I danced.

There is a small area with wood flooring, mirrors, barres, and comfortable chairs for people to watch and help with pointe shoe fitting. The small area is very similar to a dance studio space and allows for safe dancing and the trying on of pointe shoes. There is actually a small area behind the pointe shoes area where they make pointe shoes and sew on ribbons for you! This is actually super cool because sewing your own ribbons can be difficult and hard to get tight.

Besides dance shoes, Pat’s sells dance attire that is extremely comfortable! I love their leotards and yoga pants/leggings. They are super high quality, for a good price, and they last a long time! I used to order dance attire from the Capezio website, but since I go to Pat’s for dance shoes every six months or so, I started purchasing dance attire here as well.

There is actually a discount rack where lots of random dance clothes get put and they can be up to 70% off which is amazing! No matter what you purchase at Pat’s, it is great quality and worth the money! I noticed they started selling more varieties of shoes as well recently such as ballroom and tap shoes. Pat’s truly caters to all of your dance needs.

The staff is super friendly here and all are trained to fit your feet and body types to the best attire for you. I often call ahead to make sure that I can be fit into the dance store with a free specialist because the service is so great.
