Sweat Cycle House is amazing! Whether you are a fitness enthusiast or not, this is the place for you! Especially for your first time, your experience is completely free! I loved my cycling class that I went to, and 100% recommend coming to try it out, even if it is your first time at a biking class. Sweat Cycle House is found in American Fork, Utah. It is actually right next to the Artistic Dance Project. It is on the North side of those brand new office buildings on the second floor. The staff here is wonderful. I am always nervous to go somewhere for the first time, especially if its something physical like a cycling class. But Sweat Cycle House, provides an incredible experience that will make you want to keep coming back.

I went to the 9am class on a Saturday with Stacey. I walked in and was able to sign right in on the iPad. One of the staff members then fit me into special shoes that allow your feet to stay on the bike easier than normal shoes. You will walk into the cycling room where there are 3-4 rows of brand new cycling bikes just waiting for you to cycle on. The room is all black and surrounded by LED lights that change color. This provides for the experience. There are also several yoga mats in the corners of the room, as well as lockers for you to put your stuff in.

I highly recommend when you go, to wear shorts and a workout shirt! You will finish VERY sweaty, but it feels great! A staff member will help everyone onto their bikes and tell you how to get off the back and free your feet since your feet will be attached to the bike petals. Once everyone is ready to go, the class will begin!

Those LED lights that I mentioned before, they will be the only lights on for your entire ride! So, no one will see you sweat and you wont be able to compare yourself to others while you ride. The room gets super dark, but the LED lights provide just enough light for you to see the instructor to keep up and know whats going on. About half way through the ride, all of the lights will turn off. This allows you to have your own time to do a rest moment for yourself or to push yourself even harder. This will happen a few more times on your ride. A few times, the lights will change colors and there will be candles to heighten your senses and your experience.

I personally loved having the lights off because I tend to get super sweaty in my workouts and it was nice to have a dark atmosphere to just focus on the ride. The class I went to was about 45 minutes, and then we stretched. I had several friends go who had never ridden before and they loved it! I highly recommend that anyone and everyone tries Sweat Cycle House at least once. At the end of our ride, there were free muffins, bananas, and juice. The staff also provided us with towels both wet and dry to keep us cooled off throughout our rides.
