Qualtrics Summit

The Qualtrics Summit is an amazing conference put on entirely by Qualtrics. It takes place at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah. This event happens once a year and sells out super first. It is a week long and full of information about business, technology, and innovation.

You can purchase tickets online. But be sure to select the package you want. One day admission is around $100 a day, and for a week long conference, it is around $1,000. You can also get special package deals for family and plus ones. Students can get a discount with their IDs. If you watch the website early enough, Qualtrics provides up to 50% off codes.

I did not attend the full week long event, because it was all day every day, but I did go to the Thursday events. Each day has different motivational speakers, and different activities in the evenings. Lots of motivational speakers such as Tony Hawk amongst others are there. They each give around an hour of their time for a session on a topic of their choosing. This event is super packed as everyone is excited to hear from celebrities and CEOs from all over the world. There are lots of chances for networking, photo opportunities, and signatures. It is great for business people and anyone even remotely interested in business. I learned so much about successful businesses, technology, and how to implement new technology into business. It is also interesting to hear personal stories and experiences of CEOs and major business leaders about their successes and failures and the challenges they faced.

There is a huge networking evening with a fancy dinner and a chance to meet other students and business professionals from around the world. Thursday night, Maroon 5 came for a private concert. As much as I love business (being a business marketing major) I think the concert was my absolute favorite part. There was not a bad seat in the Salt Palace. The concert went for a little over an hour and a half. Maroon 5 was all there in person and played several of their songs live. Everybody went crazy when they introduced a few new songs that have yet to reach the market.

Friday is the big ski day. If you purchase the week long pass, ski tickets and rentals are included in the price. From my friends who went, ski day is also huge but not as widely attended as the actual conference itself. You don’t have to be an advanced skier, as it is just a fun day to hit the Utah slopes and continue to network and meet people.

I highly recommend taking advantage of this great opportunity. Often times, companies will help cover costs or pay for part of the conference so be sure to check with your company on this great opportunity.
