Jungle gyms can be hard to find that are clean, cheap, and fun. They aren’t that popular anymore and can get to be very expensive, and only entertain smaller children. Luckily, Ninja Studio has “revamped” jungle gyms! Ninja Playground is found in Lehi, Utah. It is brand new (not even a month old) and has a top notch facility for family and friends to enjoy.

Have you ever seen American Ninja Warrior? That is what Ninja Playground is. It is actually owned and operated by a true American Ninja Warrior champion from one of the most recent obstacles. He started the Ninja Playground to encourage friends and family to workout together and inspire some to be American Ninja Warriors. Ninja Playground has a section for kids to play around on jungle gym like structures and some bouncy pits. There is the majority of the studio which is for parents and adults to workout and train like an American Ninja Warrior. In some instances, Ninja Playground will host in house competitions which is followed by an hour of free studio time.
I went to watch the in house American Ninja Warrior and it was actually so cool!

There were 10 different men who started training and weight lifting and muscles building at the Ninja Playground and they competed against each other. It was pretty much like watching a live American Ninja Warrior but right in front of your face! The timer would go off and the men had to pull themselves off the ground across 15 different ball disc things, jump and walk across a balance beam, pull themselves under and over a “Jacob’s Ladder”, run over to the mats, jump and swing their body weight across the wheel, arm walk themselves throught the glass walls, and run up and grab the top of the half pipe.

The best time was 22 seconds! The next competition was the crazy beam jumping one, where each contestant would have to jump with his arms the entire beam out and above over himself onto the next ramp level, all the way until the top, and then come back down. Most of the contestants weren’t strong enough to do this one all the way through yet, but it was still awesome to watch!
At the end of the competition, there was free studio time, anyone could walk in for free and try out any of the equipment. It was really fun to see how fast you were and how strong you were. Kids loved to jump around and monkey bar their way through the obstacle courses. There was also water bottles, granola bars, popcorn, rice crispies treats, and candy to keep you fueled throughout the night. If you were interested, you could buy a membership that is good at any “Ninja Studio” in Utah as well as any rock wall climbing facility. This membership is called Freeplay and it is also an app on your phone you can download. This studio is perfect for families to workout and get energy out together!
