This cute little restaurant is found in Gardner Village in West Jordan, Utah. It is very inexpensive and a great deal compared to the other super fancy restaurants and food choices at Gardner Village. The Naborhood Bakery and Café is easy to find. After parking at Gardner Village, walk past the huge fancy water tower looking restaurant, past the giant tree, and head straight until you see Naborhood. It is hard to miss. This little restaurant can either be absolutely packed, or almost completely empty. I went with my husband right after the dinner rush, so we were the only ones there.

Some items on the menu can be a bit pricey, but if you get the “deal of the day,” it can be relatively cheap. We went on a Saturday, and the deal of the day was the soup in a bread bowl. It was $6. I ordered a panini which was $8. Their menu had a lot to choose from. The menu includes: Roasted Turkey sandwich, Cashew Chicken Salad Croissant, Classic BLT, Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich, Ham and Cheddar sandwich, Veggie Yum Sandwich, Deli Club Sandwich, Classic Pepperoni Pizza, Five Cheese Pizza, Meat Lovers Pizza, Margherita Pizza, Chicken Alfredo Pizza, Barbecue Chicken Pizza, Mediterranean Pizza, Caprese Panini, Chicken Pesto Panini, Turkey Bacon Chipotle Panini, Garden Salad, Chef Salad, Baja Shrimp Salad, Beets N Greens Salad, Cobb Salad, Seared Tuna Salad, Strawberry and Chicken Salad, Soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Toasted Cheese Bread, Combos (soup combo, salad combo, or sweet combo), kids meals (ham or turkey sliders, hot dog, grilled cheese, pb&j sliders, or kids’ pizza). A variety of cookies, cupcakes, and sweet treats are served fresh daily.

The customer service was relatively fast. We had to wait at first for the employees to take our orders since they were just pulling out fresh treats from the oven. But after we got our drinks and sat down, our orders were ready within five or six minutes. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. There are fans to whirl the sweet smells from the oven all around and to keep the restaurant at a comfortable temperature. There are many old fashioned lamps and lights to make it feel old fashioned. The tables and chairs were super clean and very comfortable. All of my friends and I fit on a giant table for 6.

I ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini. I have never had a panini before, and this one was super good! It was good sized and was not too hot or too cold. It was easy to eat and not very messy. I absolutely loved it and would order it again a second time. My husband ordered a chili and corn bread bowl. It was massive! It was also super filling. He didn’t eat anything else the rest of the day. He also loved it. My friends all ordered the turkey bacon avocado sandwich. They enjoyed it, but thought it was a little pricey for the small sandwich that they ordered. It was still delicious. I have head the sweets are the best at Naborhood, but my husband and I were too full to eat any sweets.
