Mi Ranchito

We arrived at Mi Ranchito in the evening. It was surprisingly busy. This was a good thing in my mind as I appreciated that they were getting good business. I had gone to Mi Ranchito with my family when I was a kid. I remember that I really enjoyed it. This time did not disappoint.

My wife and baby were with me on this outing. We were quickly greeted and taken to our seat. The waitress was also quick to ask us what drink she could get for us. Another worker who didn’t speak much English brought us some chips and salsa soon after our waitress left. It seemed that she was specifically assigned to bring people their chips and salsa. I love free chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants.

When we were ready to order, the waitress was right there. There was little delay from any of the staff members. When we needed more chips and salsa, they didn’t wait for us to ask. They kept our glasses filled with water so that we could quench our thirst throughout our meal.

Every staff member was Hispanic and most of them spoke English quite well. They had Hispanic music playing in the background, all for a true and wonderful Hispanic restaurant experience.

Inside the restaurant they had some cool decorations. They had decorative tile, some paintings on the walls, and Hispanic pottery.

I was pleased by the cleanliness of every aspect of Mi Ranchito. The staff looked clean, the counters were clean, the floors, tables, chairs, and restrooms were all clean.

The tables and chairs were set up in a way to be both inviting and fit a lot of people. They were organized and made the room quite symmetrical. Each table had silverware already placed on them so that the waiters and waitresses did not have to worry about that when sitting their guests. It also looked appealing.

Mi Ranchito in American Fork is placed in an easy-to-see spot off State Street. It is not hard to miss if you are one to explore your surroundings while driving. They have a big sign inviting guests to make reservations for their Christmas parties coming up this month. Their menus have many choices so if you have a picky-eater in your party, there is likely something that they will enjoy. Mi Ranchito has an atmosphere that is pleasing for all types of guests, from single-goers to couples to family or event gatherings. It was another pleasing experience just like I had when I was a child when I attended with my family. They served us well. If you haven’t been to Mi Ranchito, and you’ve been wanting to go to a Mexican restaurant but just don’t know which one to choose, I would recommend trying out this one. It is a cozy, delicious, true Mexican restaurant that is unlikely to disappoint you.
