L’esthetique dance studio is a studio as well as a dance company that is owned and operated by Kathryn Mecham. It is located in American Fork/Lindon area, in Utah. The studio is growing rapidly and should be expanding soon the Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs area. If you are an advanced dancer, this is the place for you! If you are a beginner dancer, this is also the place for you!

L’esthetique welcomes all levels dancers from all ages.
This beautiful studio includes so much! You can learn ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, highland (Scottish dance), acrobatics, and modern. There are plans to include clogging and tap soon, but it is more than likely a year or so away. This studio has one main dance room, a costume room, and a bathroom. As was mentioned earlier, the studio will be expanding soon, hopefully to include 3-4 more dance rooms to offer more dance classes. Yoga and pilates is also expected to be added to class selections soon.
I have been on the ballet and highland company for a year now, and I love it! I had no experience doing highland dance until a year ago, and I have learned so much!

Kathryn is simply amazing and is very talented. She is certified to teach all levels and types of dance included in the studio now. She has three other dance instructors, including a brand new instructor for hip hop dance! So, if you like hip hop or desire to learn hip hop, come try it out now!
Dance classes are open for drop in or you can pay monthly tuition for the dance classes. Children as young as two years old can take dance classes and “fairy, mermaid, or princess” camps in the summer time. These classes are mostly offered in the early morning hours around 10 or 11am. For teenagers and adults, classes are offered starting at 4pm and last about an hour and go until 8pm. Any level of dancer is welcome and you will get a great workout as well as learn technique and skills. I recently started learning how to do pointe dance and Kathryn had me in pointe shoes almost a month after starting the classes. These dance classes are super fun and I highly recommend them. I have referred several friends to come and try, and all of them have stayed at least year because they love it so much.

There is an Instagram page you can follow to see what is going on with the studio, including upcoming events like the recital in May. Kathryn tries to do 2-3 recitals a year to show the progress and skills improving that all of her students have done throughout the year. Plans are to expand as more and more students come to the studio. Besides dance classes, Kathryn creates costumes on her own for students and self choreographs each dance piece. She also hosts conditioning and stretching days for dancers to improve and heal after lots of dance hours. If you don’t feel comfortable dancing in a group, you can also schedule private dance lessons!
