Halloween has always been a fun holiday to celebrate with pumpkin patches, haunted houses, costume contests, hay rides, and apple cider. Cornbellys is a not-to-miss event that I have been to every year for three years in a row! Cornbellys is located in Lehi at Thanksgiving Point. There are several pricing options to fit anyones needs. Whether you love haunted houses, petting zoos, spooky stories, or motorbikes, there is entertainment for everyone.
When you first walk in to Cornbellys, there are pumpkins everywhere! You can purchase a pumpkin to take home. There are fire pits to keep you warm throughout the night as well as food trucks and jumpy houses for small children. Many photo stands are open to stick your head inside, and a mini cornmaze is available that is not too tricky to figure out.
Surrounding the entrance, there is a rockwall to climb up, a giant cornfield to wander through, and slides to race in a sack down. Around the corner, kids can kick soccer balls to hit the corn targets several feet away from them. There are also several corn matching games, giant jenga, get the corn in the hole, and guess who games to help you wait patiently for the haunted houses to open later.

Face painting, mechanical bull riding, and a racetrack fill in the central area. Several racers drive through a cage on motorcycles throughout the night. A mini race track is set up that piglets race around. This is a super funny and cool thing to watch as the piglets run around the track and kids vote for the winning pig. When 9pm hits, the haunted houses open.
Every year more haunted houses have been added which makes all of the more fun. The first haunted house is a clown house maze. Scary clowns are hidden all around inside the maze and you must find your way out. Sometimes the clowns will follow you around the maze. The next one, requires you to enter to lizards mouth. This one explores the body and intestinal monsters that live inside the lizard. Next to the lizard, there is a huge maze that has no lights and you must figure your way out of it. Of course, there are monsters inside ready to scare you and the occasional chain saw clown to chase you out of the house. The last haunted house is the scariest of all. This one requires a special ticket and reservation time because it takes the longest, and is by far the scariest haunted house of all at Cornbellys. This house continues to grow each year I go.

The last haunted house starts out in an outhouse where everyone site together to watch a short horror film introducing you to the story behind the house. Many surprises await you as you enter the haunted house, but basically you will go through a “deserted” school bus, a slaughter house, a “slime pond”, and through a spooky yard. Beware of ghouls, ghosts, zombies, clowns, and worst of all, the blood sucking dragon.
Cornbellys is an amazing experience and improves every year with more activities and events to do for all ages. I would definitely recommend Cornbellys to all ages, but the haunted houses mostly for teenagers and older.
